Leekei Tang

Hi - I’m Leekei Tang and I help mission-driven creative founders navigate the economic side of their work with clarity and courage

After more than two decades working across investment banking, entrepreneurship, fashion, and impact consulting, I began to see the same pattern again and again: founders with strong ideas and deep values, yet struggling to build work that could endure beyond the initial momentum.

Experience across fashion entrepreneurship, public policy, and founder education has made one thing consistently clear. Whether building and selling a global fashion brand, authoring a circular fashion business toolkit commissioned by the European Union, or teaching finance for over a decade in an entrepreneurship program at a leading chemistry engineering school, the challenge was rarely intent or creativity — but making economic choices that allow good work to last, spread, and compound over time.

Better Business Founder exists to support that shift. I write and teach to help creative founders make the economic choices that allow their work to last: beyond the moment or the trend.

Outside of my work, I host podcast conversations on climate and the environment, help preserve heritage fishing boats along Normandy’s coast or train for my next marathon.

I’m based in Paris, France.

Why It Matters?

The world is shifting fast. Trends move, customer expectations evolve, technology accelerates. The market can feel noisy. And AI blurs what feels real and grounded.

In this environment, mission alone is no longer enough to navigate uncertainty.

Founders who want their work to last need to make clear economic choices without losing their grounding

Staying financially sound while staying true determines whether impact endures

Who is it for?

I’m building this place for founders who care deeply about the change they want to create, and are ready to think more honestly about the economic choices that make that change possible.

√ This space is for you if:

  • you are deeply mission-driven and want your work to matter beyond intention

  • you experience a real conflict between your desire to create impact and the financial constraints of running a business

  • …but you don’t believe money and integrity should be opposites

  • you want to take responsibility for the economic choices that shape your impact

  • you are willing to examine the decisions you’ve been postponing

X This is not for:

  • people looking for shortcuts, formulas, or guarantees instead of engaging with real trade-offs

  • approaches where growth, scale, or visibility are prioritised at any cost

  • avoiding hard economic decisions by hiding behind tools, trends, or external advice

  • relying on strong values without building the economic structure to sustain impact
